SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS IN TRAUMA HEALING

While Debbie is taking a much-needed summer break from the podcasts, I invited a special guest to join me. In commemoration of 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, I invited a sovereignty friend and healer whose ancestor was one of the original signers, to discuss his journey around the topic of ‘Freedom and Trauma’ with me. Tony Carrol’s story covers a great deal of territory—from emotional trauma in an Irish family to his mother’s elderly abuse due to institutionalized medical malpractices. Along the route, he explains a movement of sovereignty that he is a part of in waking up to how governments and medical facilities attempt to usurp our freedoms causing malicious harm. This will be part 1, and we will further the conversation next month as it’s an important discussion for this time in our history. A healing meditation follows.

THE MOVING BEYOND TRAUMA PROJECT NEWS

ASTROLOGY

A rare July ‘Barbault's Basket’ will occur where it brings one of the rarest energies of the major outer planets recognized, as a civilization altering configuration ushering in both harmony and challenges. This is a month of karmic resets and powerful transitions.

Expect some level of slowdown from the Mercury retrograde in Cancer, which doesn’t start going direct until the 23rd. It emphasizes emotional reflection, revisiting past feelings or security issues, and family/home matters. Consider reviewing plans rather than starting new ones; expect heightened sensitivity and potential miscommunications around home or emotions.

July 3-4th brings us Mars in conjunction with Uranus in Gemini. This could be volatile or explosive energy, yet exciting (for those of us who have been sensing and expecting necessary planetary re-structuring). Sudden actions, rebellions, or breakthroughs are possible.

Neptune stations retrograde in Aries around July 7 for the first time in 165 years opening a five-month reversal. This creates a fascinating tension between the planet of dissolution and the sign of assertion. This retrograde asks us to review how we balance action with receptivity, how we honor both our individual will and divine will. We're also called to examine whether our activism comes from genuine compassion or from unconscious anger dressed up as righteousness.

On July 12th, there is a Mercury Cazimi. Mercury conjunct the Sun can bring a moment of mental clarity just before the New Moon.

The New Moon in Cancer on the 14th will highlight the need for more emotional security shining a spotlight on themes of home, family, emotional safety, roots, intuition, and nurturing. This is a good time for reflection, revisiting emotional patterns or family matters, and processing feelings rather than launching bold outward initiatives.

On the 15th Uranus sextiles Neptune and trines Pluto on the 17th to 18th. These are transformative, innovative, and spiritually/ideologically charged moments. These energies are amazing for breakthroughs in technology, groups, or personal reinvention.

The Sun enters Leo on the 22nd marking the official start of Leo Season. It’s a wonderful time to shine, perform, lead, and celebrate your unique identity

On the 20th to 25th, Jupiter goes into Leo, trines Neptune, opposes Pluto and sextiles Uranus creating a rare planetary alignment. All of this leads to expansive, optimistic, and tension-filled energy. There are opportunities for growth that clash with power dynamics. The Pluto opposition could signal a profound ideological shift, transformative social changes, and personal breakthroughs. It marks a pivotal transit that invites a reevaluation of personal authenticity and self-sovereignty versus collective power, breaking free from old paradigms and embracing new ideologies.

On the 26th, the South Node enters Leo as the North Node moves into Aquarius. An 18-month period starts which calls for innovative thinking, embracing technological advancements, and finding our unique roles within our communities.

Saturn also stations retrograde on July 26 refining and reviewing our status, reputation, long-term goals, responsibilities and increasing our mastery that it can only come with self-discipline and hard work. However, when we finally achieve it, through incremental steps, we have something solid that lasts.

A Full Moon in Aquarius on July 29 culminates an aligning with a Jupiter Cazimi, often considered the luckiest day of the year. It is an expanded perspective, spiritual awakening, and access to higher wisdom and truths of life itself. This again highlights themes of community, innovation, and expansive growth. It fosters an energy of Aquarian ideals urging us to make significant strides toward our future through acting on our dreams.

Jupiter enters Leo on the 30th kicking off a year transit of growth through creativity, self-expression, leadership, romance, and fun. Themes include confidence, visibility, and living abundantly. Yet, watch for excess drama or egoism.

Pentagon makes third drop of UFO files including new details on 'orbs'
